A memorial service for Barbara Gaye Powell Breaux will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home-Monroe with visitation from 1:00 P.M. until time of service.  Dr. Allison Moody will officiate.

Mrs. Breaux was born on December 24, 1940 and passed away on May 26, 2022 in Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Breaux; parents, John Tyler and Mary Wood.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Douglas Breaux and Keith Breaux; 5 grandchildren, Brian Breaux, Jennifer Breaux, Brandon Breaux, Stephen Breaux and Jessica Breaux.

Barbara retired from teaching at St. Fredrick High School and was also a coach for the softball team.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she was very active and served as a deacon.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
