Armede Wright Harrell Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston, LA A celebration of the life of Armede Wright Harrell, 85, of Dubach, will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Danny Baskin officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Ruston. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday at Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Mrs. Harrell was born October 12, 1927 in Lincoln Parish and passed away May 23, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a strong Christian woman who was a faithful, lifetime member of Salem United Methodist Church. As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, she loved spending time with her family. She was a blessing from God who touched the lives of so many and will be truly missed by everyone who knew her. Mrs. Harrell was preceded in death by her parents Anna and Ed Wright, a son Edwin Cecil Harrell, brothers-in-law L. D. Colvin, Arvelle Stephenson, and Loy Harrell, and sister-in-law Irma Jean Harrell. She is survived by her husband and the love of her life for sixty-eight years William Cecil Harrell, two daughters, Linda Ann Harrell Hamner and husband Bill Hamner of Dubach, Celia Harrell Wall and husband Charles Wall of Dubach; grandchildren Sharon Hamner Bridges of Monroe, David Hamner and wife Janene of Lafayette, Michael Wall of Creola, and Marsha Wall Smith and husband Jason of Ruston; great-grandchildren Matt Bridges and wife Adrienne of Monroe, Lisa Bridges of Monroe, Victoria Wall of Creola, Austin Riley of Ruston, and Logan Smith of Ruston, Lauren Lambeth and husband Josh of Jena, Lindsey King and husband Cody of Jena, and Jake Hamner of Monroe; great-great-grandchildren Neely Bridges of Monroe, Olivia and Adelyn Lambeth of Jena, and Mallory King of Jena. She is also survived by her sister Edwina Wright Colvin, brother-in-law Billy Joe Harrell and wife Estelle, and sister-in-law Devonne Harrell Stephenson, and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Pallbearers will be Eddie Colvin, Mike Colvin, Steve Ryan, James McCullin, Aaron Wood, and Phillip Wood. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Henry, Donnie Harrell, and Bobby Joe Harrell. The family would like to thank STAT Home Health and St. Joseph Hospice for their care. They also wish to extend a special thanks to her wonderful caregivers Kaye Woodard, Kathy Miller, Teresa Carson, Stephanie Stevens, Shirley McDaniel, and Heather Inman.
