Funeral services for Mr. Arby Williams, age 76, of Simsboro, LA will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Cook Baptist Church in Ruston, LA. Officiating the service will be Dr. Michael Holloway. Interment will follow at Pines Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA.Mr. Williams was born January 1, 1939 and passed away February 11, 2015.He is preceded in death by his first wife of 38 Years: Betty Ruth Williams.Mr. Williams grew up in the oil industry and worked as the second generation in his family business (Hinton and Williams Well Service). Arby retired and moved to Colorado before returning to Simsboro in 2006. He was very active in many churches and was currently a member at Cook Baptist Church. Arby enjoyed his old cars and was a member of The Antique Car Club. He loved his children and grandchildren, and will be missed by all who knew him. Many friends will remember Arby because of his kindness.Mr. Williams is survived by wife: Thelma F. Williams of Simsboro; children: Patrice Collins and husband Jay of Bossier City, and Kevin Williams and wife Challys of Simsboro; grandchildren: Hunter Collins, Kristen Collins, Micah Williams, and Aaron Williams; brother; Toby Williams of Delhi; and numerous nieces and nephews.Planned memorials may be made to the International Mission Board; 3806 Monument Ave, PO Box 6767 Richmond, VA 23230-0767.Pallbearers will be Ted McKinney, Hunter Collins, Micah Williams, Floyd Burns, Ronnie Volentine and William Downen.Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, February 13, 2015 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com
