Services for Anna Geraldine Meade, 86, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 8 in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, LA with Rev. Jack Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Monroe Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, LA.Mrs. Meade was born in Raven, VA on February 1, 1921 and passed away Thursday, December 7, 2007 at Oaks Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband: Marvin Meade; son: Gerald Meade and parents: Henry and Etta Lowe.Survivors include sisters: Gennette Smith, Louise Dowell and husband, Jack, Jo Thomas and husband, George, Sue Lockhart and husband, Chap and several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be nephews: Geoffrey Russell, Peyton Dowell, Mike Lockhart, Byron Thomas, George Thomas and Timmy Thomas.Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, December 7, 2007 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, LA.
