Funeral services for Ambrose Ecker, 80, of West Monroe will be held at 9:30 AM, Saturday, September 7, 2019 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Dr. Woods Watson will officiate. Interment will follow at Gwin Cemetery, Mangham, LA. Visitation will be held Friday, September 6, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Ambrose was born December 30, 1938 in Corpus Christi, Texas and passed away September 3, 2019 in Monroe, LA. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army. Ambrose was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Agnes Sister Ecker and a brother, Jerry Ecker.Ambrose is survived by his children, Debbie Dulaney and husband Dixon, Keith Ecker and wife Mary, Lisa Baber and husband Bubba and Malinda Jenkins and husband Allen; grandchildren; T. J., Ashley, Chelsea, Mack, Brooke, Mandy, Holly, Jesse and Gene ; 15 great-grandkids, 1 great-great grandson and sister, Jo Ann Mentel.Pallbearers will be T. J. Ecker, Mack Baber, Frank Lofton, Waylon Piercy, Greg Conley and Bubba Baber.
