I will always remember the love that Alton and his family shared with mine during our stay at his home. Alton and his family are highly respected in our family. The times shared on the duck pond with his grandchildren will be our memories forever. Not to mention the music and fish fries, etc. Alton will be missed here on earth; however, we will meet again. Words cannot describe by feelings for Alton Howard and his family. Alton was truly a man of God and overflowed with love. I think of Alton often and am over joyed when we sing "He Gave Me A Song" during worship service and I picture Alton leading. That song radiates Alton's life in my mind. So I am not saying "good-bye" to Alton, I'm saying "see you on the other side."

Alton has made heaven a brighter place! I adored him and his precious wife. I was a student at WFR School of Biblical Studies in 1970. Alton would loan me his car on Sunday so I could travel to my Sunday preaching appointment. He was a constant in an ever changing world. Thanks be to God for his life. Alton is composing praises now for the Lord Himself, and in person! Richard G. Trumps

We'll always remember Alton fondly and with blessed memories. His influence will be remembered in the lives and ministries of many ministers who were blessed by his generous spirit in spreading the Gospel throughout the world. As an elder of the church, he was an example for many other church leaders. We know that his sweet wife Jean, their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren comfort in knowing that he is singing with the angels.

Dearest Forever Family, My heart rejoices for Howard's victory day. He and the men of the White's Ferry School of Preaching, in part were the encouragers to nudge my steps into a full time ministry for Christ. I will look forward to praising God and His Son our Savior Jesus, some day in the future with my brother Howard. My Love flows out to Jean and the children. Forever Family Walt Person

Without a doubt, our world has lost a great man with the death of Alton Howard. I have had the privilege of being acquainted with him throughout my entire life and can assure you, he impacted everyone he came in contact with in an unforgettable manner. There are few people in my life who have inspired me more than this mighty man of God. Through his Godly example, intense desire to worship God and generosity, he impacted me for eternity. Though I have not had contact with him or his fine family in many years, they are a treasure in my life. Mr Howard left a great legacy which will continue to impact many for generations to come. He will most definitely be missed, but I rest in the promise that we will be reunited some day in the kingdom of God. I long for that day. I thank God for placing this man in my life. His life personified the joys of living for Jesus. I will never forget the lasting impact he made on so many.

I would like to take a moment and tell you how much Mr.Alton and all the group at the office meant to me. I went to work for Jim Howard at a time in my life I don't know how I would have made it without the love and consideration of the Howard family. Mancy is a very personal friend of mine and I don't know if John will remember me or not, but one of the greatest blessing that came into my life was working for all of them. I will keep your family in my prayers and I will always remember the encouragement and support I received from your family. Brenda Grier Kenner

I want to express my sorrow at Alton's passing. He was a true Christian in every sense of the word. He leaves an example of what men with talent and material blessings can do for the Lord. During my time at Whites Ferry Road as a student, and on several occasions afterward, Alton was always encouraging, interested in my family and my ministry, when one might not expect such attention. I am grateful to have known him, and to have experienced a small bit of his influence in my life. Thanks, Alton! Rest easy in the Lord's arms. Bill Denton

There are no words. Dad will be missed but more importantly he will greet me with his usual gentle manner when my time comes and I finally reach my heavenly home. Dad baptized me on a chilly winters day during a time when his health dictated that he should not get waist deep in cold water. But he did ,and the hand of God helped him pull me out of the hands of a lost world and place me in the arms of God. My greatest tribute to him will always be to live my life as he would of wanted me to. As he always told me, "Rita, keep your eyes on Jesus!" It was an honor to of known him and a blessing to of been loved by him.
