Funeral services for Allen Roy Reeves will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 9, 2018 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Rev. Joel Brackett will officiate with interment following at Lick Prairie Cemetery in Crossett, AR. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.Roy was born February 24, 1938 in Crossett, AR and passed away in Monroe, LA on May 6, 2018. He retired as a plant operator for Entergy and was a member of Luna Assembly of God. Roy was a member of Western Star Lodge No. 24, F. & A.M. of Monroe, LA and a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason of the Monroe Scottish Rite Bodies. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Berdie Reeves; brothers, Bill Reeves, and Jim Reeves, Sr.; sisters, Marguerite Holiday, Barbara Moore, twin Lorraine Floy Richardson, and Ruby Dell Reeves.Roy is survived by his wife, Donna Clark Reeves; daughters, Emily Day and husband Michael, Ruth Ann Carlton and husband Ronnie, and their mother, Glenna Reeves; sons, Jeff Adcock and his wife Stephanie, Jon Adcock, and Jason Adcock and his wife Amy; brothers, Alton Carey Reeves and wife Ann, Phillip Mitchell Reeves and wife Sarah; sister-in-law, Marie Reeves; 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.Roy loved his family and was dearly loved by them.Pallbearers will be Foster Adcock, Greg Adcock, Matthew Sand, Michael David Talley, Sean Day, and Matt McInnis.Memorial donations may be made to Luna Assembly of God Men Ministry, 2843 Red Cut Road, West Monroe, LA 71292.
