Alfredo Rojas Cervantes

Funeral services for Alfredo Rojas Cervantes will be on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Farmerville, LA under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes-Farmerville.  Rev. Al Jost will officiate.  Visitation will begin at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

Alfredo Rojas Cervantes peacefully passed away, surrounded by loved ones, on August 30^th, 2021, after a long battle of colon cancer. Alfredo was born July 30^th, 1971, to Anselmo Rojas and Maria del Carmen Cervantes Munoz in the bustling city of Mexico. In 1981, he met Mayra Yadira Avila Flores at her father’s hair salon. Alfredo and Mayra went on to have two children, Mauricio Jarred Rojas-Avila and Grecia Rojas-Avila. Alfredo had time to pursue his love of rock music, building his collection of Funko Pop figurines, being an avid Marvel movie fan, watching and playing soccer while dreaming of being in the big leagues, watering and taking care of his plants, and most importantly his love for food. Alfredo was a hardworking man, he was a great warrior that fought until the very end, a loving family man, a respectful son, responsible, and always put in effort to get the job done.
