My heart goes out to Phyllis and all of Zic's family and friends...I am so glad I had the opportunity to get to know Alan over the last few years as we floated the Colorado river and hung out at various Sigma Nu gatherings in the Florida panhandle. What a great guy...he will be sorely missed!

I cannot express how much I am saddened by Alan’s passing. He was my friend, my teammate. A true gentleman that loved his family, with a positive outlook on life. He was respected by his friends & competitors. I met Alan 17 years years ago at one of our many annual OSC conferences. When I returned from Europe back in 2012, to assume responsibility of the Southern region, Alan was one of the first to reach out to me to let me know if I NEED ANYTHING, he was there! I will always be grateful. Even after all that happened to him after his back surgery, the Constant pain, 24/7, he always kept that positive attitude! He was my friend & like many of us at OSC, will miss him terribly. Rest easy my friend?

Uncle Al was the life of any family gathering...always ready to laugh or "gig" somebody to get a laugh...I think I will miss that laugh most of all. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Phyllis, Hannah and Allison. God bless you all, and especially Alan.
