Funeral services for George Brown, 87, will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Loch Arbor Baptist Church in Monroe, LA.  Services are under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home- Monroe. Brother William Sikes, Brother Andy Myrick and Andrew Brown will officiate.  Interment will follow at Loch Arbor Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Loch Arbor Baptist Church.

George Owen Brown was born on March 2, 1934 in Crowville, LA and passed away on August 11, 2021 in Monroe, LA.  He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.  George retired as a sales manager for Ouachita Coca-Cola Company.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Brown; grandson, David Allen Crawford; parents, Pearl and Pearl Brown of Crowville, LA.; brothers, Curtis Brown, Wayne Brown, and John Allen Brown.

George is survived by his children, Jeanne Brown, Pamela Brown Crawford, George Mitchell Brown (Elaine), Allen Walter Brown (Lindy), Delores Brown Rieger (Terry), and Lynn Brown; sisters and brother, Nell Brown Harrington, Linda Brown Antley, Rickey Lane Brown; sisters-in-law, Maxine Summers (Alan) and Dorothy Bridges Brown; 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jeffery O’Bier, Jr., Andrew Brown, Robert Rieger, TerryLynn Rieger, John Rieger, and Joshua Brown.  Honorary pallbearers are Jeffrey West, Danny West, Daniel Brown and Douglas Brown.
